This cup was modeled after “Haku” from the movie spirited away right around the new year of the year of the Dragon. Delicately hand crafted with my glassblowing torch and Borosilicate glass tubes and rods. All pieces are handmade then welded together. The tubing used for the cup and foot of the glass are a color called Purple Amythyst, a beautiful transparent light purple color. This is more of a display piece but certainly usable for a special occasion. This piece would complete the dragon or studio Ghibli lover’s home.
